happy times
Heavy lunch, nua and chit chat, sinful dinner, nua and chit chat again.
No wonder I'm getting fatter and fatter!
But I like rest days spent in such a way :)
By the way, midnight movie photos are out! Thanks to meowmeow Kat.
And so...flash back to last Saturday:

That's me, Noel, Alfred, Jiajia (at the front passenger seat) in Yang's car. The others in Kangwei's van, on the other hand, were a mad bunch of people, cause those at the back were opening the doors at times and the two cars' people were erm, "communicating".
Laughed like shit though, it was really funny.
The movie was supposed to start at 12.45am, but the advertisements were plentiful, so the movie only started at 1.20am.
Transformers 2...makes one go dizzy. The plot was cliche, sadly D:
Stated in film textbooks, canted framing and camera angles usually are "sparsely used", in times to present action for the movie. But in Transformers 2...normal camera angles are used too little! It's either spinning/jerking/slanted/chop-chop-chop camera angles.
I was literally @.@ during the later parts of the movie due to the overwhelming action scenes. So was Yang who was beside me. But Alfred and Alex still seemed damn excited. Must be due to Megan Fox...
And Megan Fox still looks hot after running through a life & death marathon! Wtf! It doesn't make sense! Lol!

Group photo! (ps. Little Miss Sunshine is actually Lord Xenu. Now we know...)

With Kat :D

And can I ask what's that on my head? Someone's hand or the background from the 7-11 wallpaper? I look constipated. Lol.
Kangwei drove me back home later. His van is the same one as my dad's, it wobbles in the exact same way and for a moment it really felt like I was sitting in my dad's van. Kat was sleeping at the back and she slept so soundly till she looked like she was in a coma, while I couldn't fight the sleep bug and zZzzz too.
Midnight movies are fun. Do another one soon? :)

3 more months to go.

Bliss is...nua-ing at Cyber Centre, eating mango salad at Mensa, basking in the cooling evening breeze with the lovely sunset glow, while spending time with friends...
Ah. I shouldn't be blogging here. My Ejournal is expired and my log book is empty. I still have to brainstorm for interview questions and news angles, while trying to look for contacts and keeping myself updated for the latest news on H1N1.
And I only had 4 hours of sleep yesterday. Work is badly screwing up my body clock.
There is too little time, for too much things. I need time management...
Oh, it was fun talking with Kat, Alex and Clements today :D
Half of the time I decided to just screen out what the 2 guys were saying...Alex if you are ever reading this...Emperor Qin! With a camera strap! Lol!
Can't believe that the old fart is doing dirty stuff again for the third time. I wonder should I be amazed at his greed for seemingly nonsensical "power" or be amused at his tricks. No matter what, I'm supportive for the new team!
Screw the old fart and do what you guys think that is right :)
ps. I saw the "newest" VC freshies and ZOMG, I REALLY DO FEEL SO OLD NOW. shit, I'm now really a smelly-old-rotten senior liao. Hahaha...
pps. the photo above is taken at TP. Lovely sunset right? :)

我们是: 五月天
I think this is the best CD purchase I got during these few days!

Over the years of liking old Mayday songs, I didn't know that the songs I liked alot are all from this album. I should have bought this album long ago.
I feel blissful grooving to this CD. I prefer the old Mayday songs so much more, as compared to the newer albums. Maybe cause, these songs were created years back when they were younger, when they were still true blue hot-blooded youths (热血青年 ftw! LOL).
There is this "raw" touch to the songs and hence the "raw" form of...感动?
ps. I saw a name that I've not seen in years and for once, I squealed in front of computer and grinned from head to toe. Oh shit. Something's wrong with me :D

update update.
Rest days whiz by way too fast.
I've so much to blog but so little time!
Day 1:
- Piano - Miss Ng and I came to an agreement that I'm not going to try for the exam next year, from now on I can play the pieces that I like. Piano is finally music, but no longer a burden for me.
- CDs - I rewarded myself by getting 3 discs at 1 whooping go.
- Jogging! - Oh yes, I dug out my dusty running shoes, joined YH & XY at the tracks. Subway for dinner :)
Day 2:
- Swimming - Hit the pool with YH after she and XY jogged in the evening. Subway for dinner again!
Day 3:
- Elective choosing - TP's online system didn't disappoint me. For 2 counting to 3 consecutive years, the system never fails to hang and die when it is the elective and subject options choosing time. Thank you TP Epoly website, it was fabulous to see you hang for 3-4 hours, which resulted in me being late for 2-3 hours for meeting my friends. I appreciate that GREATLY. Anyway, thanks to Ain for helping me to do the application or else I guess I would not be able to get out of the house at all.
- Shopping? - It was me who suggested shopping but only Alfred got his stuff! Shopping mood was gone. Must be the website's fault. Grr.
- Steve Mccurry Gallery @ Asian Civilisation Museum - Fantastic photo gallery. Makes me realise that I really want to roam the world, feel the places & people, and capture scenes using the camera. I didn't know of this photographer (cause I am such a noob D: ) but this is his photo which is one of the famous pieces:

There were so many beautiful pieces exhibited at the gallery...I remember this piece clearly as it was such a simple piece of work yet it exudes so much beauty:
Quote Yang: "Wah. The photos we take of people walking looks so idiotic but look at this..."
Quote Noel: "Mccurry says, the first thing to do as a photographer, is to leave home."
Quote Alfred: "Bye people. I'm going home to pack up my stuff and travel now."
- Dinner - Subway again! For the 3rd consecutive time. Laughed our asses off over Yang's jokes again. When Yang was asked what he's gonna do in the future after school, he replies: " I think...I go sell yogurt." Hmm.
Day 4:
- Shopping with Mummy dearest! - Spent half of my month's salary today. Bought shoes for myself and a pair for mum too :) I heeded Muthu Yee's advice (from long long ago) and bought shoes that are more expensive, but would definitely last longer. Ah, Noel and Yang were at Tampines after their trail ride but I was out shopping...or else I bet I would be laughing away at Yang's random nonsensical moments again...
Sigh, can't wait to spend time with friends again. I should really finish up my film in the FM10 I have on hand. Hmm.

tormented.

This is bad.
It's nearing 2am.
I'm very tired, after exercising for two days straight, been way too rusty for too long. But my mind is in a whirlpool and I know if I cannot come to a decision, I won't be able to sleep in peace tonight. And I have a full day out with friends tomorrow.
How? Choices are such pain in the asses. It is the final lap to finish, and it is no joke. I feel like an idiot for stressing myself out, but I can say Year 2 was such a bitch, it teaches me that I should really weigh my choices, and decide carefully. Real carefully.
This is rare. For so long, I have never been tormented by decision making as much as this. Even deciding to give up someone tucked in the heart was way much easier.
Urgh. Maybe I just don't belong to the media world.

stay away.
It's funny how everytime I set my heart on keeping a distance, you did come running to me once again.
But no, really no, this time round, I have to stay away.

life should be like that.
Hello everyone.
My whole body is aching all over...sore arms, sore back, sore legs. I only had 4 hours plus of sleep last night but I braved everything and met May today, after work.
Lack of sleep really does kill brain cells as I smsed her that I'm in Borders when I was actually in MPH, while I was reading the "20% off for all books and get a MPH membership card!" cardboard right in front of me. Hmm maybe the lack of sleep makes me blind too, in a way.
Yesterday met up with the VC peeps for dinner. Not really dinner since I had mine at home, more of a chill-out session with them.
As usual...Puiyee playing with the leftovers...Alfred's teasing of Yawen (with the "say sorry" nonsense which I almost had forgotten)...Kat with her random blabbers and Kangwei with his f22-ness...Noel going high on jokes...the guys posing funky poses for photos...ah, and many many more goofy good stuff.
Meet-ups with awesome friends after work.
Life should be like that.
goodbye clouds of grey
hello skies of blue
